Ubongo! hahaha! The Kenyan Embassy is always glad to be of assistance whenever you are stuck and need a place to crush. Even if you arrive after office hours, there'll be people who can point out Kenyan hangouts, bars, noisy eateries where you could at least call home, get mpesa services as well as pata mchango..
Tanzanians are great people. They just do't like hasty people, and as long as you remain polite (ki-lugha) they'll accommodate you easily

Hmm, I like the way you play with words and language though I am more for stories with humans (or animals) in them. I had to read this twice to decide whether I liked it and I can say it is good but I still prefer stories like "Hear No Evil" and "Sometimes the Sky Looks Like the Sea". Still good, work!

Wow, you have really written this from the bottom of your heart, I can actually feel the emotions you are feeling when writing this. so much stuff to comment on but because I dont want to make a post on a post I will only say these:
- Yes, I want you to accidentally tackle that beggar one of these fine days
- there are quite a number of beggars who actually have more money than you
- There is no class of beggars I hate than young able bodied men dragging along old blind men in traffic begging. Why can't they leave the old men at home and go do some maningful work so that they can take care of these old men in a better way, or are these old men just but props?
- Should one of your uncles decline to buy you lunch one of these fine days, give me a shout out, I will not interpret it as begging :)
- The SAPs were actually imposed on Moi by the World Bank / IMF evil axis, and yes, they messed up so many countries!
